As we have come to an early end of term I just wanted to look back on all the good stuff since Christmas...
Without stating the obvious, we have had a busy old time!
Miss Williams has introduced Feelgood Fridays to the staff and pupils ad we have a dedicated well being session daily. This has had a massive impact on pupils and staff alike.
We had a great visit from our Friends from Targoviste in Romania and we are still communicating with them and working together.
In January, Year 6 had a fab WW2 day, costumes, food and lots of great learning- but they didn't leave me any spam, and everyone knows I love spam...
Staff, pupils and parents came in for our Defib training and the school disco raised money for replacement pads.
We have had residential trips to Glan Llyn for Y3 and to NBH for year 6. Great experiences where we saw our pupils perseverance and resilience develop. Year 3 have had a great visit to the Celt centre in Wrexham
Choir have taken part in both Young Voices and Amasing - goodness knows how they managed to learn everything, and I think Miss Cross and Mrs Roberts had some sleepless nights, but they did and they were fabulous!
We raised funds for Australian Bush Fire Relief and for Sports Relief
We have had our Eisteddfod and Welsh morning. We couldn't believe how well attended the day was and we are looking forward to inviting you in again for another Welsh activity day.
We have had our Bikeability training and taken part in sports festivals such as netball, football and rugby. As ever, our children have been a credit to us and have displayed good sportsmanship, fair play and a commitment to do their best.
We celebrated World Book day with Teacher Swaps and a mass book read at break.
So, quite apart from anything else that has kept us busy...we have had a lot going on...and I can't wait until we get back to normality and do it all again!
