Many thanks to pupils, parents and staff for all your hard work this week.
We seem to have ironed out most of the tech issues you have had but please be patient with us and it if you are still having problems.
Please remember that we are giving you work for the children but it is not compulsory. The work is there if your child is ready to do it. Please don't feel under pressure to complete it to any time scale and feel free to leave it if your child is stressed by it. Some pupils may have whipped through the work at speed. At this point please look to some of the other home learning activities we have suggested rather than asking the class teacher for more. Class teachers are setting more tasks as they can but it is important to remember that this is all new to them too and they are learning as they go along just as you and your children are. Your patience and understanding with this will be appreciated by all.
And lastly, it has been a busy week and we are all just beginning to settle into a rhythm and a routine that works for us. Have a good weekend away from school work and enjoy your time together. Hopefully the weather will hold and we can enjoy time in the garden if nothing else (I am ignoring the news report that said there was snow on the way)
