Come to school in your Welsh rugby colours tomorrow to show are support for Wales as they get ready to play Fiji. Join us after school to watch the game. There will be refreshments on sale and telco have very kindly donated some raffle prizes. Kick off at 4.45pm

Monday 28th Global Lesson -- Tuesday 29th Year 5 Plas Mawr, Year 4 Conwy Castle -- Wednesday 30th Year 3 Plas Power -- Thursday 1st October Non Uniform day, come in Welsh team colours, Match on at 4.45pm Friday 2nd October Year 5 Class Service 2pm start On Thursday 1st October Wales play Fiji in the Rugby World Cup. If the children would like to come to school in the Welsh rugby kit or team colours of red, white and green they can for a donation of £1, funds raised will go to Friends of Maesglas. We will then be showing the game after school.
Doors open from 4.30pm with KO at 4.45pm. There is no cost to get in and we will be selling refreshments. On Saturday 3rd October there will be the Urdd Eisteddfod Proclamation Event taking place in Flint. If your child would like to take part in the parade they can meet us at Flint High School on the Astroturf at 11am.
Activities will be cease in the Castle at 4 o'clock. Look out for the letter going home today Mrs Smith has just finished counting the money. We raised an amazing £450 for #MacmillanCoffeeMorning. Thanks everyone. #teammaesglas

Holywell Town ‘Football in the Community’ would like to invite your son/daughter to attend a free fun football taster session to be held at our Halkyn Road stadium this Saturday (26th September), 11:00am – 12:00pm. The session, which is targeted at Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils from our junior club and local primary schools, will consist of technical skills and small sided games.
In order to participate children are advised to wear suitable sports kit/footwear and bring a drink with them. Upon arrival at the stadium, please report to the changing rooms to register (gates will be open from 10:45am onwards). Parents/carers must sign the consent form sent home with the children (Friday) A very excited Year4/5 class are on the way to Chester today.
They will be finding out about the Romans as part of the topic work for this half term. Look out for the tweets throughout the day. |
