Following the resignation of Mrs W. Dawson from our Governing Body we have a new chair of Governors, Mr R Jones.
This also means that we have a vacancy for a Parent Governor. A Parent Governor will :-
In the event of more than one nomination we will need to put it to the vote. If you would like further details please do not hesitate to contact me. On Thursday 19th April we will be having a film night for all KS2 (Year 3 to Year 6). The film will start at 4pm and we will be finished at 6pm.
This will cost £2.50 or £5 per family which can be paid on the door. Refreshments are included in the entrance fee. On Tuesday 17th we will be taking part in the Year 3 5 a side competition. The team should have had a letter with all the information.
On Thursday 26th April we would like to take Year 4 to the Grosvenor Museum in Chester to find out about the Romans.
Please look out for a letter on the way home today. I know I send this message out on a regular basis and sorry for pestering.
The prize money has dropped recently due to the number of people playing. Just a reminder that you can help support our school by playing the school lottery. The pictures on twitter look fantastic and I can't wait to hear all about it tomorrow. We are aware of a bit of lost property. As you are unpacking please look out for anything that does not belong to your child and send it back in to school. I am sure they will all sleep well tonight. A very big welcome back to school after the Easter break. It was great to see everyone today.
