Just a reminder regarding activities in school in the coming weeks...
Thursday(05/03) is World Book Day and we will be having lots of activities in school. We DO NOT ask for pupils to dress up on World Book Day as we have a dressing up day for Eisteddfod and they always fall at a similar time. If your child would like to bring a favourite book in to read at break or lunchtime that is fine, but please make sure they have their name written in the book.
Friday (06/03) is Eisteddfod day and a celebration of welsh work in class. We ask pupils to wear red, green or white for the day. Welsh National Teams sports clothing is acceptable too.
Parents are invited to come in for our Eisteddfod assembly and then go with the children back up to class to take part in some activities with your children.
Infants, including Nursery start at 9.30. Juniors starts at 10.45.
Tuesday 10th is our Amasing event at William Aston Hall. Can I ask that everybody makes sure they have returned the forms and bus money by this Thursday. We have been asked to make sure that our choir looks as bright and colourful as possible. They suggest that the children wear a plain tee-shirt of any colour. Please see Miss Cross if you are unable to supply this as we have some in our store. Please have the tee shirts in a labelled bag in school by Monday 9th.
Friday 13th is our Year 3 class assembly. It starts at 2 pm and celebrates Sports Relief. More details about activities for that day will follow shortly.
Wednesday 18th Parents are invited in to see their children's work and have a chat with the class teacher. We open the doors at 3.30 and will be closing the school at 6.30.
Monday 30th March As part of Outdoor Learning Week in Wales, we are taking all the pupils off to Greenfield Valley for some outdoor learning sessions. More details to follow.
Wednesday 1st April We will have a Dr Bike surgery in school. Our friend Gwen from Sustrans is coming along to have a health check for bikes and scooters and will fix what she can and let you know about any faults they find. So bring along your bikes and scooters. This is a fantastic free service they offer to our pupils.
April 3rd we finish at the normal time for a well earned Easter Break.
