Please make sure everything is taken home tomorrow.  Anything left over the summer will be donated to the charity shop.  The cloakrooms still have a lot in them.

End of Year message

I can't believe that we have got to the end of the school year already, I still have so much to do!! I am writing this now as I know that our last day is always busy and full of emotion. Hopefully I will not be crying too much and we will be celebrating all the achievements of our Year 6.  I will be speaking to them tomorrow but I wish them well and like them to know that once a Maesglas always a Maesglas.  They are always welcome to visit, back on work experience or even a job in the future, who knows.
I want to thank you all for the support this year. We have had successes and some challenges, yet despite all, we have continued the work that has to be done.  I was truly touched by all the messages of support I received recently, it is very much appreciated. We really are #teammaesglas.
There are countless people that I need to thank and I am so sorry if I miss you out.  To all our amazing staff thanks for everything you do, as always above and beyond.  Enjoy a well earned break and make sure you are well rested for September.
We do have people leaving our team and I wish them every success for the future.  I am sure they will keep in touch.
I would also like to thank all the volunteers who have helped in school this year including our Governors. Your presence and support is very much appreciated. We hope to continue counting on you in the years to come.
Have a great summer everyone.  Don't forget we start back on Friday 1st September.

School Grounds

Can you please remind children to stay off the school site after school hours?
This is for health and safety reasons.  They are unsupervised using the outdoor play equipment and climbing over the high fence to access the grounds.  I have already witnessed one close miss and don't want to see anyone get hurt.
I have already had to ask children to get out of the Nursery outdoor area this evening only to find that they have moved to the bottom car park and decided to bang on my office window.
Thanks in anticipation of your support with this matter.
