Moving up day

26/6/2017

On Thursday 29th June all our children will spend time with the teacher they will be having in September.  The aim of the day is for each child to experience the new class they will be in and become familiar with staff and routines.
In previous years we found that the children will be nervous and excited all at the same time.  Please reassure them that we all feel like this and it is perfectly normal.  We are sure they will enjoy the session and it will put them in a good frame of mind for coming back in September.

New nursery children Group A 9.15am - 9.45am
                                      Group B 10am - 10.30am

We are having a bit of a change around of staff.  So here are where the staff will be.

Nursery - Mrs Hiller
Reception - Mrs Pearce/Miss Williams
Year 1 - Mrs M.Lloyd/Mrs W.Hughes
Year 2 - Miss Jones
Year 3 - Miss Coppack
Year 4 - Mr Williams
Year 5 - Mrs G. Lloyd
Year 6 - Miss K.Watkins

Join us for Wear Yellow Day tomorrow to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis.  We would ask that the children bring in a donation of £1 to wear anything yellow.
You can also Text Yellow to 70500 to donate £5 to the Trust, and help them create a brighter future for everyone with cystic fibrosis.
We can't wait to see your #CFYelfie!

I now have 11 teams confirmed for the 15th July.  Only 1 space left.
If you would like to enter a team you need to let me know on Monday.  Team places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Once the adult teams are finalised I will send out details for the children.

Athletics

You might have already spotted on Twitter that our athletics team had a great afternoon on the track in Deeside on Friday.
It was a great team effort with some brilliant individual performances.
The team ethos throughout the afternoon was superb with plenty of support and cheering.  I must admit I had a bit of a sore throat on Friday night!
Thanks to Mr Williams for team managing and getting everyone to events on time.  Not an easy task when someone had the long jump and 400m at the same time.
Looking forward to seeing all the medals in school for celebration assembly.
