Looking back on twitter it is amazing to see how busy the children were throughout January and February. Please follow the school twitter account for up to date news from every class.
Our children have represented school in a variety of sporting competitions. We have participated in football, netball and dodgeball. We are always very proud of the children that compete. Year 1 footballers were disappointed as no opponents turned up to play us. The Everton coaches have offered to come in and deliver a session for the Year 1 team to make up for it.
We now have 15 Year 5 children trained up as Peer Mediators. They will be on duty every dinner time to help others with any small issues that they might have.
Year 3 and Year 4 went out to Dangerpoint. They had a great day and found out a lot of safety tips.
Over the last term we have invited people in to share with the work of each class. It was great to see so many parents and grandparents getting involved in lessons.
Year 3 enjoyed sharing their work on Blood, Guts and Gory bits. Year 6 had to read their stories to the adults that came.
Keep a look out for more opportunities for you to come in to school.
Year 1 to Year 6 enjoyed a don't touch tell assembly.
Key Stage 2 were introduced to Chatfoss. Hopefully you have had the passwords home and are enjoying the safety of child friendly social media. We are the first school in Wales to try Chatfoss and would really value any feedback you have about the site.
Hope you are all having a good half term. See you next week
