A great chance for the children to set up a business.
Fiver is the Young Enterprise national challenge for 5 to 11 year olds. Pupils will have 1 month to set up a mini business and create a product or service they can sell or deliver at a profit and engage with the community. Each pupil that wants to take part will be registered and pledged £5 on 6th June. Pupils then use this start up capital to get their enterprise off the ground working alone or in groups. They can put their £5 together. At the end of the month the original £5 plus a donation of 50p need to be paid back to Young Enterprise. Pupils are in full control of the profits they earn and get to decide what to spend them on. (School Trip, Day out, resources, donate to charity). Ideas from last year:- Flower pot men who sold plants. Perfect Plays who put on a summer performance, Lovely Locks who made hair accessories, Please speak with your children and get them thinking of what they could do. Registration information will be sent in a few weeks
