As we near the end of the Autumn Term and Christmas draws closer I know that many of us are thinking about other things (I haven't started my shopping yet!).
I just wanted to thank you all for your support throughout 2016. Being prepared to think of others is a particular strength of Maesglas. Raising money for charity is something that our children, staff and friends do readily and willingly. This sense of community is something very special about our school. We are here to help and listen to all of our families. If you do have any issues please do get in touch and we will always do our best to resolve any problems. We do have 1 staffing change in January. Miss Coppack will be out on a Welsh training for the term. This will be a real assest to school and help us to further improve standards in Welsh as a Second Language. Mr Sayers will be teaching the class for the spring term. He has worked with the children before and knows our school well. I am sure you will all give him a warm welcome. I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the Maesglas staff and the pupils for their hard work throughout the term. We also appreciate all the support we receive from parents and carers in making a difference to so many young lives. Finally, I would like to wish all pupils and parents, from all the staff and governors of Maesglas, a very Happy Christmas and a Great New Year. See you in 2017!!!
