In the event of a school closure you can check Flintshire County Council’s relevant webpage http://www.flintshire.gov.uk/schoolclosures.
This procedure also automatically updates the Council’s Twitter (www.twitter.com/flintshirecc ) to help provide another channel for notification of school closures. There is also an RSS Feed available to keep instantly updated about school closures. http://www.flintshire.gov.uk/dominoimgs/webcont/emsdata.nsf/feed.xml If you want to register to receive emails whenever a school closure has been logged please follow this link:- http://www.flintshire.gov.uk/en/Resident/Schools/Emergency-School-Closure-Parent-Information.aspx We will also update the school twitter, facebook, website and send a text. On the 16th December we will be having a talent show in school at the request of the school council.
If you know that your child has a hidden talent please encourage them to take part. I can't wait to see what interesting acts we get. Please check the calendar on the website for dates for the rest of this term.
