There are no after school clubs this week. Look out for letters coming home to sign up for new ones.

Mrs Seenan will be taking her class swimming from tomorrow. Please ensure children have the right kit and £3 for the bus.
Thanks Can I please remind all Yr 6 parents that the closing date for High School applications is this Friday.
Admissions will not accept late applications, they will be considered after those received on time whatever the circumstances. They have informed us that they already have 3 secondary schools with more applications than places. Make sure you get your application in. School opens on Monday 31st October.
We have a busy start to the half term. Remember the children can bring in pumpkins on Monday for the competition. On Tuesday we have our first visit from our new Police Officer. She will be working with all classes discussing playing safe, Alcohol and Good Choices. On Thursday the children in Year 1, 2 and 3 will be having the flu nasal immunization. Looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school Three girls in Year 6 have organised a pumpkin competition that they will be judging on Monday.
There are prizes for each class. It costs £1 to enter. They will be using the money to buy new books for the library. As most of you will know, we applied for a Community Fund from Aviva.
This fund will help us run a project called The Family Learning Signature. It will be available to many families within our community and will offer some exciting opportunities. More details can be found once you click on the link below. https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/project/view/16-2043 We currently have 1224 votes. A good effort but we have a long way to go if we are to win. This is about 100 people. You can use multiple email accounts to register for votes. Please share this link to as many friends and family as you can. Thanks for your support We have 191 votes so far. A great start but we are going to need more. Keep them coming.
Where did that half term go?
We had a great celebration service this afternoon with loads of trophies, medals and certificates. We also celebrated all the children that had 100% for the whole half term. Congratulations to Year 3 who had the most 100%ers! We then had a whole school session on the field getting in some laps for our marathon kids. The children were too quick for me and I ashamed to say I only got 2 laps done...good job we have until July, I am going to need it. Whatever you are doing next week stay safe and we will see you all back on the 31st October. I have followed the link and cast my votes for Mrs Woodhouse. It takes about 5 min.
We have 40 votes so far. Lots of projects on there. We really need your help. Come on #TeamMaesglas Message from Mrs Woodhouse
