As you can imagine, the open door policy we maintain is not going to work so well for us in the current situation. If you have had some change of circumstances or you need to discuss something with us regarding your child/ren we are available by appointment on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th September. Please call Mrs Smith to arrange a time to come in (Office will be open on Tuesday 1st). If you need to see us at another time, give us a call and we will try to accommodate you. Thanks for your understanding
Please contact the school either by phone (leave a message) or by email (email@example.com) if your child has a food allergy so that we can update our records. We will have a new and reduced menu available when the pupils start back and it is important that Sara can cross reference any allergies against the new food products she will be using.
The most important thing to remember is that children need to bring in as little as possible.
They will need a coat everyday as they will be spending more time outdoors than they might usually do, even if the weather is a bit drizzly or wet.
They will need their lunch and drink.
They will need a water bottle with their name on it (They will not have access to their lunch time drink etc during lesson times)
They will not need pencil cases (We have zip lock personalised packs for each child)
They will not need their PE kit
Please do not send your child in with items to show or with certificates or medals
If your child rides their bike to school, please take it home with you as it cannot be stored in school at the present time

Thanks to all who responded to our survey regarding the breakfast/ before school provision that we sent out at the end of term.
We have been working hard with our colleagues both in school and across our cluster to find a safe way to reopen our before school provision for when the pupils return.
It would be impossible to run the club as before and adhere to the new guidelines but we also understand for many of you returning to work would be very difficult without this free provision.
We will be sending out a letter by email to all parents on Tuesday 2nd September for you to register your child for this provision and to detail the constraints we are currently working within to keep everyone safe.
Please look out for this email and contact the school on Wednesday if you have not received it.
Mr Cass, Headteacher
