Just a reminder that it is the induction evening for Nursery and Reception (2018-19) parents tomorrow at 5.30pm (if your child is in Reception now you do not need to come).
This is an opportunity for us to introduce The Senior Leadership Team, members of the Early Years Team and to outline the procedures for induction into our school including the routines and procedures which will affect you and your child. (Important even if you know the school already!)
Staff will also be available to answer any questions.

Sun Protection

26/6/2018

Please apply sun cream to your child before they come to school.
If your child is prone to burning and you feel they may need an additional application you may send in a labelled bottle of sun cream, which your child should give to their teacher.
Your child will be able to apply the cream themselves when needed (usually just before lunchtime) under the supervision of a classroom staff member and younger children may require some assistance with this.
It is also advisable to provide your child with a sun hat/cap on hot days and we will encourage children to sit in the shade as required at break-times and drink plenty of water.

If you have a child in Nursery now this is for you.

On Thursday 28th June the children will be involved in a transition morning at school.  Part of this is for the children to experience going to the school hall and tasting a selection of the food available for school dinners.  On this day there will be a slightly later pick up time of 11.30am.

Thanks
