Family Support Advisor

My name is Lynsey Woodhouse and I am the Family Support Advisor at Ysgol Maesglas.

A Parent Support Advisor’s role is mainly to support you and your child to get the very best from school by providing support, advice and information. I can help you with any worries that you have and how best to resolve them.
As you know being a parent is not an easy job and at times things can get tough. Some issues some parents may face include:

Attendance
Family issues                                                     Welfare benefit applications and tribunals         Unemployment                                                 Training and education                                 Transitions
Emotional wellbeing                                         Physical Health
Debt
Healthy eating                                                   Feeling isolated
Behaviour in and out of school
Parenting Concerns
Housing                                                             Budgeting and managing finances
Bullying

How Can I help?
If any of the listed issues are worrying you or concerning you or you just need someone to talk to, no matter how small it may feel I may be able to help.
